This handy little accessory is an absolute novelty in the world market of accessories for electro-acoustic musical instruments, a device that has never been produced before and that finally sees the light of day thanks to the innovation of Eko Guitars. This is the Piezo Booster, designed and patented by master luthier Roberto Fontanot. What is it used for? Here are the words of Master Fontanot explaining everything to us:
""As far as electro-acoustic guitars are concerned, piezoelectric pickups use pressure to provide a signal, and without pressure the pickups do not work, while with too much pressure the pickups saturate and cut off. Due to the effect of the impact and pressure of the strings in relation to the bridge (especially after changing strings), the nut always tends to lean and therefore positions itself at a wrong angle to the piezo pickup: this implies a volume imbalance between the strings because the bridge saddle itself does not rest evenly on the bridge the pickup. The Piezo Booster mechanically makes it possible to bring the bridge properly vertical and orthogonal and thus correctly distribute the pressure on the pickup. The result will therefore be a re-balancing of the volume between the different strings, and a gain of a few dB on the overall volume."

To use the Piezo Booster correctly, simply place it on the bridge (as shown in the pictures) and hit it 2/3 times with good force and the bridge will immediately realign perfectly. Here, your piezo pickup is now optimally tuned again to perfectly transcribe all the nuances of your electro-acoustic guitar playing!"
