Product description

This compact rack from Rupert Neve Designs accommodates six 500 series modules (Lunchbox size). The back of the Rupert Neve Designs R6 features a host of connections that allow the units to be integrated into your studio in many ways. The power supply provides 8 channels of balanced I/O on the following formats: DB-25, XLR and TRS. These connections can be used interchangeably. Ideal if the rack is used mobile and you are not sure which connections are available at the location. The thru-connections of channel 7 and 8 can be used to quickly and easily convert a signal to/from DB-25, XLR and TRS connectors.

The R6 provides more than double the power required to prevent units from failing due to a higher than expected load. Current power consumption is displayed via LEDs on the front panel. The internal power supply is carefully designed and double shielded to prevent disturbances due to magnetic induction. The chassis is made of solid steel and features shock-absorbing bumpers and a folding handle for ease of carrying. The R6 can be used with any 500 module and can also be paired via the link jumpers on channels 1-2, 3-4 and 5-6. Matching blank panels are also available to cover all empty slots.
