The sE Electronics guitaRF is a handy tool for guitarists and sound engineers, both in the studio and on stage. It functions as a Reflexion Filter â¢, isolator, dual microphone stand and fine adjustment for both a large-diaphragm microphone and a dynamic or small-diaphragm microphone. These two microphones can be adjusted phase linearly in relation to each other for maximum impact. Placing the guitaRF in front of a guitar cabinet allows it to be perfectly amplified and stage bleed to be reduced to a minimum. The design of the guitaRF is based on the popular RF-X filter from SE Electronics. The four-layer filter consists of a composite screen with a wool layer, an air-gap layer and an acoustic foam layer on the inside. The guitaRF also has an integrated hole with a rubber grip that holds almost any dynamic or small-diaphragm microphone firmly on its pole. The holder for the large diaphragm or ribbon microphone is adjustable in three axes, vertically, depth and angle. In this way, the perfect position for each microphone can be achieved. The arm height of the supplied stand can also be adjusted. The filter can also be placed on any other stand. This also makes it possible to isolate a kick drum or hi-hat and makes the mixing of a live show considerably easier.
