About Music Circle
Music Circle was founded in the summer of 2021 by bass player Pieter Smits (https://www.linkedin.com/in/smitspieter). As an experienced marketing director in logistics and e-commerce, he successfully managed the relaunch of the largest retail chain of musical instruments in the Benelux in 2019.
Inspired by the dynamics and passion of the music industry, he saw that there was still much to be gained in terms of environmental impact and good customer service, and so the idea for the Music Circle webshop was born.
To save on CO2 emissions and packaging material, the concept of dropshipping was chosen as a basis: ordered products are shipped directly from the distributor to Music Circle customers. This makes Music Circle immediately the most environmentally friendly online music shop in the market.
