Product description

The Rupert Neve Deigns RNDI is a high performance DI with a rich, deep and full sound with exceptional clarity without any added harshness.

The RNDI uses a Rupert Neve designed Class-A transformer and discrete FET amplifiers. It has a robust metal housing and is powered by a 48V phantom power supply.

The input can be switched between instrument and speaker level. Thus, both an instrument and an amplifier output can be directly connected. In instrument mode, the RNDI has a headroom of no less than + 21.5dBU, allowing any line source to be connected without a pad. In speaker mode, a power amplifier of up to 1000 Watts can be connected to capture the full sound of the instrument, pre-amp, EQ, inserts, and output stages of the amplifier. This allows the FOH technician to work with the total sound without any microphone background noise.
